The Store Manager, Palm Beach, works as lead sales associate and oversees the LF Palm Beach staff, sales, and inventory and works closely with Royal Poinciana Plaza Management for events, PR, and social media pictures/videos.
The Store Manager is responsible for setting both tone and example within the store through exceptional customer service skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a refined eye for visual merchandising.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Operations:
● Maintain company standards for visual merchandising, ensuring the store looks fresh and
exciting.
● Work closely with the Retail Operations Manager in New York City to ensure communication
between office and store staff (daily store updates, tasks that need to be taken care of, items
that need to be delivered to the store, policy updates, launches, product knowledge, etc).
● Stay informed of brand launches, sales promotions, and propose store events (with support
from Retail Operations Manager) around them at the Palm Beach location.
● Communicate general maintenance and store upkeep with Retail Operations Manager as needed.
Coordinate with local vendors as needed.
● Maintain and clean the store while keeping inventory and racks up to date.
● Provide support for retail events (sales, sample sales, in-store events etc).
● Maintain an up-to-date inventory count and participate in the active improvement of our
inventory management systems.
● Communicate with the office team to facilitate stock movement to support retail sales.
● Manage and deliver monthly reporting to Retail Operations Manager as needed.
Staff Management and Training:
● Recruit, train and develop Palm Beach sales team, cultivate a high-performance culture,
motivating teams to meet sales and productivity goals.
● Implement and oversee customer service strategies, plans and materials to set the
standard for all store staff.
● Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding sales team accountable for meeting
all brand, performance and customer service standards.
● Drive team engagement by recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance
and maintaining an environment where all staff are treated fairly and with respect.
● Serve as primary support to store staff for matters including, but not limited to, inventory,
scheduling, POS/technical issues, employee onboarding, maintenance and repairs, etc.
● Resolve all human resources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR when
necessary.
● Encourage customer relationship development (VIP clients).
