Job Overview:

Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and progress
- Ensure classroom management techniques are implemented effectively
- Provide guidance and support to students as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet educational objectives
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Proficient in classroom management techniques
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
Requirements:
- CDA certification (preferred)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations for preschools (preferred)
