We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics and teaching, along with the ability to engage and inspire students in their learning journey.
The Middle School Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering effective math lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment conducive to academic growth and development.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement engaging and standards-based math curriculum for middle school students.
* Plan and deliver effective lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
* Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
* Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
* Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and academic achievement.
* Communicate regularly with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues about student progress, academic concerns, and upcoming events.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success and achievement.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in math education.
* Adhere to school policies, procedures, and standards of professional conduct.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Valid teaching license/certification for middle school mathematics.
* Prior teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.
* Strong knowledge of middle school math curriculum, standards, and instructional strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
* Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for working with middle school students.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $51,500.
00 - $60,000.
