*Responsibilities:*
Your responsibilities as a Cable Technician will encompass a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:
* Installation, troubleshooting issues and educating customers on the use and maintenance of their equipment, programming, and configuration of a diverse array of telecommunication equipment.
* Working with various types of wiring, demonstrating the ability to distinguish between colors.
* Handling all types of cables including Coax, Cat5/Cat6, and working with small components to establish cable connections.
* Understanding signal paths and flows.
* Utilizing hand tools and testing equipment.
* Installing cables both indoors and on poles, which may involve climbing poles and working in basements.
* Checking signal levels at cable outlets.
* Providing TV, Internet, and phone services.
This includes setting up equipment like modems and cable boxes.
*Requirements:*
* Your own white SUV / VAN or Pickup Truck - *(Mandatory*)
* Previous experience as a cable technician
* An active driver's license.
* A valid Social Security Number.
* An iPhone to be able to use our application.
* Fluency in English.
* Passed Drug Test
* Clear Background Check.
* Ability to carry a 28 ft ladder.
*Payment:*
Our pay scale varies from *$1,200 to $1,700 per week* based on production (quantity of completed jobs per week).
Experienced technicians have the potential to earn up to $2,000.
*1099 Contract:*
This position is based on a *1099 contract*, which means that this is “commission-based” only and we will be paying you based on your accomplished job per week, based on production.
_You’ll be responsible for your own tools, vehicle, and fuel expenses.
