About The Role
DBE Utility Services (a division of United Utility) is seeking a full-time Field Safety Representative for the project team in south/central Florida.
DBE is an underground utility company with its main headquarters located in Palm Beach County, FL, and a satellite office in Jacksonville, FL.
We specialize in directional drilling, water, sewer, gas, fiber, and power.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and oversee safety programs and policies on construction sites.
Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
Provide safety training to employees and contractors.
Investigate accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes and recommending preventative measures.
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into all aspects of construction.
Key Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in using safety management software.
A commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST)
Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
