We are looking for a professional and experienced mechanic.
Our equipment consists of large excavators, front-end loaders, Link-Belt friction cranes, skid-steers, diesel powered push boats, various trucks.
In addition the repair and maintenance of our smaller sized equipment as well, i.
e.
, hydraulic power units, small engines, and outboards.
Various duties: Replace hydraulic lines, fittings, filters, parts and perform preventive maintenance, etc.
Minor welding helpful.
-Marine construction industry experience (helpful)
-Experience in diesel engine repairs and various components of heavy construction equipment and rigs
-Diesel engine certifications (preferably)
-Ability to evaluate when issues arise with the equipment
-Ability to perform appropriate diagnostics of the equipment and troubleshoot accordingly.
-Must be able to stay organized with mechanic truck and tools provided.
-Must be self motivated and able to keep a daily log.
-Holding a high school diploma/ GED/ or above
