*Aberdeen Golf & Country Club*, a Distinguished club located in Boynton Beach in the heart of Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking an *Events & Front Desk Assistant* with excellent communication skills to assist the Director of Events in planning, promoting and the execution of the club’s events and holidays, and supporting the Front Desk operations.
Our ideal candidate will provide strong administrative support to the Director of Events, communicate effectively across internal departments and serve as a point of contact for event inquiries, scheduling, contracts and billing while always striving to enhance the member experience.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Under the direction of the Director of Events, oversee event inquiries, scheduling, contracts, billing, including facilitation of room set up and decor.
* Cover the Front Desk Reception a minimum of two days weekly.
*Position Requirements*:
· Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Publisher, Word, Excel, Outlook), and Canva
· Team player exhibiting a positive “can do” attitude.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
* Strong proofreading skills
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong project and time management abilities
* Experience in a country club, hotel/resort environment.
*Desired Qualifications*:
· Prior experience with JONAS, Chelsea or Club Essential software
