Assistant Manager
Duties:
- Assist the store owner in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient and effective store performance
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a positive work environment
- Manage employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer needs
- Conduct employee orientation and training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about company policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising products
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cleanliness, safety, and security
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management
- Knowledge of retail management principles and practices
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing employees
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
