BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST The Information Management Division is seeking a highly motivated, agile, and collaborative Business Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for supporting our data systems and enhancing our existing technologies.
The individual in this role analyzes complex business operations and develops business requirements and specifications for the creation of Program and Early Childhood data systems.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for working with the user community to gather and document complex requirements and work with the software vendors to implement new functionality.
Additionally, this position is involved in the design and implementation of the automation of identified processes using Artificial Intelligence (AI) within our existing data systems.
Our ideal candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills and be comfortable learning new software systems.
This individual will also be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation on software processes and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provides application support to all the end-users of the assigned applications with a customer service-oriented approach to address their needs effectively.
Provide user training on system functionalities.
Conducts analysis on application functionality and data collected, providing insights and recommendations to both the business and members of the Information Management (IM) team.
Provides technical issue resolution for the assigned applications by utilizing an array of resources while troubleshooting to identify the root-cause of issues that arise.
Works with key stakeholders to identify the needs to enhance specific functionality or processes within the assigned application, documents all the details of the requirements, collaborates with vendors for clarification and submits the finalized requirements.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user manuals, system requirements, and design specifications.
Keep documentation up to date to facilitate system maintenance and future enhancements.
SKILLS Experienced providing technical support for software solutions Strong troubleshooting skills Skilled in querying data using SQL Ability to leverage AI tools such as Microsoft CoPilot and ChatGPT Comfortable working with helpdesk ticketing systems Proficient in gathering and documenting requirements and working with software vendors to implement enhancements Ability to work in cross-functional teams Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams, translating business needs into technical solutions Ability to track project requirements and timelines Skilled in using Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio Ability to work with Zoom and Microsoft Teams online meeting and collaboration software (both hosting and attending)
