Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow.
Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, providing individualized attention, and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention to each child's needs and abilities
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Promote social skills, self-esteem, and independence in children
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young students in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage behavior effectively
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting
- Knowledge of toddler care and special education practices
- Ability to create a structured classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management
- Understanding of child welfare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with curriculum planning and assessment techniques
