Description Summary: A Kids Club Supervisor is responsible in providing a safe, fun, and stimulating program of activities, to ensure our child guests have a fantastic stay with us.
Kids Club Supervisor for PGA National Resort responsibilities: Create a safe environment for guests and team members Oversee the maintenance, repair, and security of the kids club Help the team set up, pack up, and provide supervision to kids Keep a positive working relationship with other departments and our guests Supervise the attendants in planning the daily programs for children Make sure the kids are safe, handle any accident that may occur Report any problem to the manager Making sure the room is cleaned properly for the children Making sure each child has the proper registration form Perform other related duties Planning ahead of time birthdays, holidays , and daily itinerary for the kids club.
Be available and prepared to work a flexible schedule including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as holidays.
Employment Standards: High School Diploma or equivalent Computer knowledge Previous experience as kids club supervisor First Aid Certified Report to work on time with proper uniform, including name tag.
Personal appearance must comply with the standards.
Ensure all members’/guests’ requests and satisfaction receive priority attention.
Provide gracious hospitality towards all members/guests.
Be familiar with all emergency plans and be able to act upon them.
Be familiar with and adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards.
Develop knowledge about frequent members and/or guests; especially about their children.
Be familiar with cultural differences to meet all different customer needs.
Be knowledgeable about etiquette and protocols.
At all times strive to represent the property in the most professional, courteous manner.
Must have neat and clean overall appearance.
Maintain proper associate uniform standards and footwear which is slip resistant, enclosed toe and heel.
Speak, read, and write in English.
Present a professional demeanor in both mannerism and appearance.
Be knowledgeable about the city and environment.
Maintain safety by adhering to safety policies; be responsible to report all accidents immediately.
Support all safety programs.
Proceed with caution when walking on slippery floors and in congested areas.
Ensure that proper safety instructions are given before operating any equipment.
Ensure Kids’ Club and all activities are committed to providing our young guests and their families with a safe, fun and worry-free stay.
Ensure knowledge of the proper procedures for reporting accidents.
Physical & Mental Requirements: Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Required to sit/stand, walk/run, push/pull, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel and crouch/crawl.
Must be able to interact with co-workers, customers and have a sense of TEAM Language Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
