Cocoplum Nature School is an inclusive, progressive, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high quality, nature-based, early education (K-2) in Delray Beach.
We honor children as individuals, promote joyful learning, and encourage child-led inquiry.
We offer free childcare for Holistic Wellness Circle part-time staff during working hours of the program.

_Minimum requirements_
1.
Clear Background Check Level 2
2.
CPR either current or on the way
3.
At least one year of experience in childcare either by work or parenting
_Highly Desirable Qualifications_
* Experience in early childhood education
* Experience with Conscious Discipline, Mindful Discipline, or the Guided Method of Discipline
_Duties and responsibilities_
* Responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of all children in the group during program hours.
* Responsible for adhering to the values of positive discipline, mindfulness, and kind redirection.
* Participate effectively in any professional development activities needed, e.
g.
, CPR certifications, poison control trainings, etc.
* Provide administrative support as needed
_Hours & Schedule_
* Free childcare is available on site during working hours.
* Tuesdays 5:45-7:45 pm – weekly Holistic Wellness Circle meeting.
* Occasional Saturdays (once or twice per season) 9:00-11:00 am – monthly Circle activity / excursion.
_Pay_
* $25 per hour to start; potential for increases according to availability of resources and/or skills and experience
_Optional_
* Additional hours: Thursdays 5:45-7:45 pm – weekly Parents Wellness Circle meeting
* Circle Training
