Job Description:
At ttg Talent Solutions we are looking for a Financial Applications Analyst, to work with one of our amazing clients in Palm Springs, FL with experience and knowledge in the following Oracle Applications modules: Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Costing, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Minimum 1-2 years working knowledge of the following Oracle Applications modules: Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Costing, and Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Provide functional Oracle applications support to ensure business continuity and growth
Provide end user support to assist in resolving daily IT requests from the end users
Participate in special projects as directed by IT Director
Provide end-user training, as required, in various software applications, including but not limited to Oracle Applications
Ensure availability of critical computer systems up-time to be 99.

Ensure initial response time of IT requests to be less than 4 hours
Minimize the number of reports and ensure they relate to business KPIs
Ensure quality training for all end-users
Plan and administer resources, execute, and complete special projects according to deadline and within budget
Provides day to day support and expertise for all business transactions and activities performed within Oracle Financial Applications, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management
Assists in supporting other Oracle Applications related to AP and AR including Purchasing and Order Management, as required
Provide day to day support for Oracle Product Costing, including but not limited to OPM Item costing
Provide subject matter expertise and support for all month-end related accounting close activities to ensure a smooth, accurate and timely financial month-end reporting
Act as the Oracle Financials subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures, defining detailed requirements, analyzing the business needs, and validating solutions with the end users
Provides, performs, and supports all business system testing requirements for all Oracle Financials related modules in support of upgrades and patching
Assist in providing periodic ad-hoc reports as necessary to assist the Finance and Accounting departments in answering specific business questions
Conduct End user training and develop training content and job aids as required
Apply technical knowledge and expertise for the development, implementation, and support of business functionality
Develop and document detailed functional specifications as it pertains to new reports, interfaces, or customizations
Follow standard System Development Lifecycle and documentation guidelines
Support Oracle applications through issue resolution and providing guidance to key users using the Help Desk software to ensure issue cause and resolutions are fully documented
Provide input to the development of project plans and timeliness in order to meet established delivery dates
Provide excellent customer service and support for all functional solutions
Act as the functional finance and accounting subject matter expert for Oracle Applications
Assists and performs daily IT log tasks and monitors for any exceptions that need to be addressed
Documents and communicates all daily log task exceptions to appropriate support team expert
Proposes and implements ideas to simplify daily activities in the Finance and Accounting departments by leveraging new or existing IT solutions
Plan, organize and deliver special IT projects aimed at sustaining the company s business activity
Is available 24/7 for any critical Oracle application system related problems that may arise
Perform other essential functions as assigned
