The Opportunity – Financial Controller We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee and manage our financial operations.
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our financial records and reports.
You will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive the company's growth and profitability.
Financial Controller Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
A master's degree is preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, with at least two years of experience in finance as a Financial Controller.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices associated with GAAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly.
- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of budgeting, financial modeling, and forecasting.
-The ability to lead others towards a desired outcome while fostering a positive attitude.
-Exposure to the financial aspects of construction projects.
Financial Controller Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the company's financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimize financial performance.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare financial reports, analyzing variances and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Review and approve financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in financial processes.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.
- Support external audits and ensure timely completion of tax filings and other financial obligations.
