INTERNAL AUDITOR

THE POSITION:
Under the direct leadership of the VP of HR & Risk Management, is responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of Goodwill operations through audits and inspections.
Prepares analytical reports and partners with respective department leadership to remedy patterns of opportunities while increasing operational efficiencies and providing maximum available mission funds.
Partners with Donated Goods Retail (DGR) and Donated Goods Operations (DGO) leadership to ensure operations efficiency and support are provided.
As the Internal Auditor, you will:
Audits & Inspection:
Prepare for audits by running key reports.

Data Analysis and Support:
Review audit/inspection trends to identify failure points and partner with senior operational leadership to devise a process to increase operational effectiveness.

Partnership:
Partners with stakeholders/ different appropriate department leaders and manages the process to ensure that all open action items are corrected and closed timely.

Training:
Ensures 100% customer satisfaction and buy-in while delivering training.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in accounting, audit, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
Five years of retail sales transaction process evaluation experience
Auditor certification preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a privately owned vehicle to travel throughout the Goodwill territory to visit stores and locations, on a regular and recurring basis.
Work flexible hours to conduct audits during all store open times including weekends and evenings.
