Job Description: QuickBooks Bookkeeper
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks to join our team.
As a QuickBooks Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the company using the QuickBooks software.
Your primary objective will be to accurately record financial information, maintain organized records, reconcile accounts, and provide financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a deep understanding of QuickBooks software.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all financial records, including sales, expenses, invoices, and payments, using QuickBooks software.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and managing collections.
- Perform regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Keep accurate track of financial transactions, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Generate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with budgeting and cash flow management.
- Provide support to the management team by providing financial analysis and reports as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in applicable accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of QuickBooks software.
- Proficient in managing general ledger accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software and MS Office suite.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with experience using QuickBooks software.
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor is a plus.
