TITLE: PURCHASING CARD (P-CARD) COORDINATOR PURPOSE: The P-Card Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and providing training on all aspects of the School District’s P-Card program.
The School District utilizes Bank of America’s Global Card Access and Works Program to manage over 900 card holders.
The position is the primary customer support for both internal and external stakeholders and monitors program effectiveness by providing analytical, reporting and audit support and training.
This position reinforces internal controls to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related business field and two (2) or more years of successful experience in business analysis and fiscal process compliance, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in business/fiscal accounting processes, preferably in a governmental setting or financial institution.

Evidence of leadership skills by having successfully lead others in business processes and/or fiscal methods, procedures, and compliance.
3.
Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze and interpret policy and procedures in support of department goals and for accurately achieving program objectives.
4.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective program training in both workshop and on-line platform environments.
5.
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups, and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing.
6.
Knowledge of quality customer service principles and processes.
7.
Knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications appropriate to the position’s job responsibilities.
P-Card software knowledge preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions: 1.
Supports cardholders by processing applications for new cards, providing communications from the bank to cardholders, inactivating lost/stolen cards, and processing card cancellations.
2.
Functions in a liaison capacity between cardholders and the bank to resolve issues/concerns and to assist with any investigative activities that may be warranted.
3.
Maintains required documentation for P-Card issuance, credit limit increases, and approvals to ensure compliance with District policies and procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines and standards.
4.
Monitors program effectiveness, and regularly provides analytical, reporting and audit support, thereby reinforcing internal controls to ensure program compliance; produces ad hoc and special reports as needed or directed.
5.
Creates, develops, and delivers cardholder training programs in both workshop and on-line platform environments.
6.
Prepares P-Card metrics for management and works collaboratively with the bank for potential and additional rebate opportunities.
7.
Performs cardholder account spot audits for compliance; recommends and implements approved changes supporting program security; provides follow up with cardholders and managers regarding any policy exceptions.
8.
Responds to audit requests and maintains/produces required supporting documentation.
Performance Effectiveness Criteria: In addition to the employee being responsible for each of the performance responsibilities listed herein, annual progress will be assessed with respect to support and achievement of the District Strategic Plan and associated applicable scorecards.

Conducts oneself in the best interest of students, in accordance with the highest traditions of public education and in support of the District’s Mission Statement.
3.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary: $48,832 - $60,000 Hybrid Remote Work Capable of lifting/carrying 20 lbs.
and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
