Accountant

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*  Play a key role in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and managing various asset and liability reconciliations  Review balance sheet and income statement variances  Process check requests, expense reports and personal reimbursements  Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure compliance with company policy  Ability to complete complex bank reconciliations  Oversee multiple entities and reconcile intercompany transactions  Assist with annual budgets and rolling forecasts  Assist management with implementing and monitoring compliance with internal controls  Assist with external and internal audit requests, including quarterly reviews and the year-end audit  Support special projects and implementations aimed at improving operational efficiencies *Education & Experience:* · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required  3+ years of relevant work experience  Experience in health care industry is strongly preferred  Proficient in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
 Experience with multi companies record keeping *Skills:*  Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills  Advanced Excel and expertise in the functionality of the accounting GL system and modules  Strong verbal and written communication skills  Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multi-task  Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.
