Position Overview:
Ed Morse Automotive Group is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance.
Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.
Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitor financials to support strategic planning.
Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, variances, and trends for management review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Evaluate investment opportunities, assessing risks and returns for informed decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for stakeholders and executive leadership.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives.
Participate in the budgeting process and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Stay updated on industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field is preferred in lieu of a degree, three years of equivalent work experience.
5+ years’ experience as a financial analyst with a strong understanding of financial principles.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
High-level proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, accoutning softwares, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Ability to break down projects into manageable tasks and establish a structured approach
Knowledge of industry trends, economic factors, and financial regulations
Relevant certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
