STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant position is responsible for the accuracy of all transactions recorded in the general ledger and uses such data to provide accurate financial reporting, budgeting, audit workpapers, compliance filings and more for multiple organizations.
The Staff Accountant adheres to all policies and procedures, conducts full month end closing cycles including but not limited to bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, preparation of monthly financial statements, etc.
This position is also a backup to the accounts payable and payroll functions.
This position serves as support to the Director of Accounting and provides expertise, training, and assistance to the Accounting Department staff.
