Description:
Island Hospitality Management is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist professional to join our West Palm Beach team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing, verifying, and batching invoices for multiple brand hotel properties, and resolving vendor issues.
Requirements:
Process management invoices for various properties
Enter data into appropriate systems
Code invoices and verify the proper coding of management invoices
Resolve vendor issues
Mail checks to appropriate vendors
Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding Accounts Payable and Purchasing issues
Job Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and professionalism
Good with time management
Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
Ability to work both with a team and alone
Must work well in fast-paced environments
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
)
Knowledge of JD Edwards accounting software is preferred
