Financial Controller - West Palm Beach, FL

Our client, a private Aviation Company with locations nationwide, is looking to add an experienced Controller to their Finance Department.
This role will come with a lot of high visibility and will sit onsite in West Palm Beach.
The Controller will manage a staff of two and report directly to the CFO of our client.
This is a very hands-on role and we need a strong team member who will work with multiple contacts within the company.
The Controller will be tasked with managing the end-to-end accounting process.

*Responsibilities include:* · Overseeing AP and AR.
· Overseeing Payroll.
· Knowledgeable about Payroll laws.
· Liaison between HR and Operations if needed.
· Responsible for payrolls processes, workers comp, and new hire / termination packets.
· Responsibility for managing the weekly funding process.
· Oversees all accounting transactions including invoicing.
· Balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
· Become an expert in QuickBooks and Corridor.
· Weekly Financial reporting for the Operations team (AR, AP etc.
) · Cash Management.
· Analyzing Financial Statements.
· Responsible for timely financial statement review with the CFO.
· Ability to work with detail but also analyze results.
· Ability to communicate questions and then work independently.
· Reporting to the CFO action plans, status, and wins for each area of accounting.
*Qualifications:* · 7+ years of previous Accounting Experience.
· Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
CPA not required.
· Full working knowledge of GAAP.
· Experience with accounting programs and reporting tools.
· Detail and deadline oriented.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
