*Job Title:* Staff Accountant

*SUMMARY*
Maintains, balances, and analyzes revenue, expense, reconciliations, member queries and packages.
Responsible for accurate and timely updating of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports.
Mentor and Coach AR and AP Team.
Makes recommendations to Controller / CFO regarding core competence of the Team.
Directly Assists AR Team with Member Inquiries, Journal Entries, Month End close, reconciliations, Package Creation, Daily Close of Chits, Jonas button set-up, validating tax on Sales Items, Terminal Set-Up, Inventory Set-Up, MLGA, Master Generator, Food and Beverage Redistribution, Catering and Club Events Reconciliations.
Special Projects as requested by Controller and/or CFO.
Coordinates basic IT needs throughout club.

• Deposit and Posting of A/R Member Receivables, checks, credit cards, ACH, essentially collecting cash as back up
• Complete Understanding of AR duties, provide support and Manage AR
• Analyze and process specific Reconciliations: i.

Catering Actuals, Club Events, MLGA, Weekly Covers, Golf Rounds
• Member Estoppel / Contract Termination calculation
• Weekly and Monthly Payroll Reports: Tennis, Golf, Fitness, Catering, Wine
• Journal Entries / Month-End close
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations as assigned by Controller / CFO
• External Audit duties as assigned by Controller / CFO
• Master Generator and Report Generator creation and editing in Jonas
• Weekly Cover Report, Closing of Chits and Update Jonas
• Package Revenues creation for events, inclusive of “pop-up” events
• Gift Card Issue, Balance and Reconcilition monthly
• Credit Book Reconciliation and solve discrepancies in Jonas vs subledger
• Corporate Card and Amazon account Reconciliation
• Tennis Reconciliation of SPBCWTA and Junior League
• Menu Set-Up, Button Creation, Sales Category in Jonas
• Set-up, auditing, monitoring FOBs
• Contract Audits and Monitoring
• F&B POS Printer Mapping
• Interdepartmental trouble shooting – i.

• Assist with Operating Budget as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance, and/or Controller
