*About YOU:*
To succeed in the Accounting Specialist role, you should come from an accounting background, be detail oriented, and work well under pressure when needing to meet deadlines.
*Key duties and responsibilities include:*
* Performing varied invoice checking processes, reconciliations, journal entries or excel spreadsheet analyses to a high degree of accuracy as required from time to time in the finance function.
* Utilize math skills to analyze key financial data.
* Prepare financial reports on a determined schedule.
* Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities.
* Learn and understand the business, drivers and key commercial issues in order to ensure that analysis and reports are relevant.
* Cooperate and contribute as a team member with the finance team.
* To learn about related functions so as to broaden one’s knowledge in the business and to understand the interrelatedness of the functions and roles in the company.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
* CPA, ACA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (or working towards a certification).
* 1 year minimum financial accounting analysis or reporting experience.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (desirable).
Compensation commensurate with experience.
