*ABOUT YOU: *As a Staff Accountant, your role is pivotal in shaping the financial landscape of our organization.
Collaborating closely with the Director of Corporate Accounting, you will contribute to day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, accruals, audit readiness, and various finance improvement projects.
*Responsibilities:*
* Monitor service level agreements with legal entities for accurate processing of accounting documents.
* Develop and implement accounting goals, policies, and procedures for the department.
* Assist in financial statement disclosures and compliance with audit programs.
* Facilitate monthly and yearly accounting period closings to ensure accurate results.
* Foster team development for optimal productivity.
* Direct compilation and issuance of accounting statistics and reports.
* Assist in streamlining accounting operations processes.
*Requirements:*
* *Knowledge:* Advanced financial accounting expertise.
* *Education:* BSc in Accounting / Business Administration.
* *Certifications:* CPA preferred but not required.
* *Experience:* Minimum 1 year as a Staff Accountant in Professional Services; 3-4 years of general accounting.
* *Job-related Skills:* Active Learning, Stress Tolerance, Achievement/Effort, Problem Sensitivity, Mathematical Ability, Inductive Reasoning, Inter-Personal Relationship, Excellent analytical skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
